Ms. Sneha Rane swims the strongest!
Ms. Sneha Rane, the Swimming Coach at DPS, Nashik floored us with her resilience and swimming talent when she participated in the World's Longest Swimming Competition held in West Bengal in 2017-18. She stood 11th at the national level by river swimming 19 kms free style. She also stood 2nd in Maharashtra (State-Wise) and clocked it at 2 hours 56 minutes. The highlights don't just end there and she once again enamoured everyone by swimming 5kms in the sea at Sindhudurg in the Ratnagiri District in Maharashtra and stood 7th. She also swam 5 kms in the sea waters of Mumbai, Maharashtra and stood 10th. To acknowledge these excellent swimming achievements, she was honoured with a trophy by Mr. Balashaheb Ramnath Ghorpade. Swimming against the tide is one lesson we have learnt from Sneha and we wish her all the best in swimming towards her success. She is not only an able swimming coach but she also leads by example and makes us proud of her.
